Counselling Philosophy
Bahareh believes in a compassionate, client-centred approach that fosters a safe and empathetic environment for personal growth and healing. By integrating evidence-based modalities such as Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, she tailors her methods to each client's unique needs and cultural context. Her goal is to empower clients through self-discovery, resilience-building, and the development of effective coping strategies, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
Education and Approaches
Bahareh is a seasoned mental health professional with over a decade of experience in providing compassionate and effective support to adults dealing with a wide range of mental health challenges. She holds a Master’s degree in General Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Tehran University, Iran. Bahareh is currently enhancing her qualifications through the Bridge to Registration and Employment in Mental Health (BREM) program at Mennonite New Life Centre, Toronto. Her approach integrates evidence-based modalities such as Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), alongside training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP).​​
