Counselling Philosophy
Bea Gancedo is an experienced mental health professional dedicated to helping clients overcome their challenges, providing a compassionate, non-judgemental and culturally sensitive space for her clients.
Bea practices internal family systems and trauma-informed counselling, incorporating techniques from evidence-based therapeutic approaches. She works closely with each individual to develop a personalized plan.
Education and Approaches
Bea completed her master’s degree in clinical psychology in Spain and is currently enrolled in the Bridge to Registration and Employment in Mental Health program (BREM) at the Mennonite New Life Centre, which she is expected to complete in 2015. She has level 1 training on IFS and will obtain level 2 in October 2024. Bea has been trained in cognitive-behavioural therapy, dialectical-behavioural, mindfulness and solution-focused brief therapy.
