Education and Approaches
Debjani Kar is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with over 8 years of experience in the field of mental health. She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from West Bengal State University, India, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Philosophy with a focus on the relationship between impulsivity, decision-making, and planning in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Debjani has completed advanced training in CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic modalities, including Clinical Hypnotherapy and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). She is also currently enrolled in the Bridge to Registration and Employment in Mental Health program in Toronto.
