Counselling Philosophy

Hedieh believes in creating a sanctuary where every client’s story is valued and their unique challenges are met with tailored, evidence-based solutions. Hedieh combines her expertise in case management with a deep understanding of diverse backgrounds to craft personalized strategies that inspire growth and resilience. Her approach is all about empowering clients to transform their lives through empathy, practical skills, and a strong therapeutic partnership.

Education and Approaches

Hedieh is a dedicated and compassionate professional with over 10 years of experience in culturally competent behavioural health services. She holds a Master’s degree in Family Therapy with a background in Guidance and Counseling. Her expertise includes Systemic Family Therapy, Dynamic Psychotherapy, Object Relations Theory, Painting Therapy Workshops for chronic patients, Everyday Parenting, Story Therapy, Play Therapy, and Drawing Psychological Analysis. She addresses relational issues, emotional development, and psychological needs through these diverse modalities.

Hedieh’s experiences include investigating cognitive strategies in adolescent cancer survivors, validated by the CCSS scale (November 2017), and evaluating the quality of life in adolescents and cancer survivors, validated by the QOL-CSV scale) Her work in community services has involved case management, volunteer management, and program coordination. She has a profound understanding of vulnerable populations, offering individualized care plans and coordinating services. Her approach integrates practical knowledge of crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and community outreach to support diverse client needs.
